This week is the debut of our newly designed website www.nystateappraisers.com, formerly Pfaff Real Estate, Inc.'s X-site.  Pfaff Real Estate is the parent company of www.nystateappraisers.com.  Our website has new features including contacting us via a text message on our home page.  If you need an appraisal in the Hudson Valley, NY or an appraisal in the Capital District in New York this is your one stop shop.  Our Certified Appraisers have over 18 years of combined experience and have appraised many different property types and understand the market. 

The market condition is improving in the Hudson Valley, this week we did a market analysis and appraisal in Monroe, NY that showed the market in Monroe, NY is no longer declining for homes priced under $400,000.  In addition the supply situation is improving in Monroe, NY, but in nearby Blooming Grove, NY another appraisal showed the Blooming Grove, NY still has a declining market.  Blooming Grove, NY's market still appears to be over supplied.  Saratoga, New York is another area we appraised in this week and we found that the market in Saratoga, NY is stable for multi-family properties.  Saratoga, NY market appears to have stayed fairly stable since the Capital District has been somewhat insulated from the downturn in employment and declining markets. 

Spring is Assessment Review Time, so we had several assessment review requests this week.  There will be many more assessment reviews in the upcoming weeks and months as there are many property owners wishing to alleviate their over assessed properties.  We will keep your posted on the volume of assessment reviews.
